The student body voted on the music and the lyrics to a new school song. The lyrics were written by Loren Kilde, a senior, and Jerome Miller, a sophomore:
Fight Song
Fight on Fergus (fight on for your fame)
Come on fellas (we will win this game)
And when we start to fight our victory is in sight
And we will show them that we have the might to fight!
Fight on Fergus (fight for your fame)
Go you Otters (we will win this game)
And when we end the fight our victory will be right
So (fight on Fergus Falls fight!)
The Otters went through the tough Minn-Kota Conference in football with the only perfect record in the history of the conference!
